Instructions
Whisk together the sour cream, mayo, grated garlic, salt, pepper, dill, onion powder, lemon juice, and ¼ cup of the buttermilk. Add more buttermilk for a thinner consistency, and taste the dressing to check for seasoning.
Use immediately or store in the refrigerator until ready to use. The dressing will last in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge—remember that it will thicken the longer it sits, and fresh garlic will become stronger in flavor over time.
